Do you ever wonder if the ghosts of the people who used to live in Yarmouth still haunt this town? Every year in October, at the cemetery on Hillside street, the Royal River Community Players lead audience members in a stroll around the graveyard to visit skits performed by community actors and inspired by real people who lived here. This year, Stroll Haunted Yarmouth featured both some silly and spooky stories. One story was of a sledding disaster which led to a town-wide ban of sledding in that location! Another was of a mysterious clock that lived on for generations. Yet another was about a lively old woman and her adorable dog, Skippy. To learn more about the characters, their stories, and the cast members, visit https://www.royalrivercommunityplayers.com or the Yarmouth Historical Society for a special Stroll Haunted Yarmouth exhibit, only up until the end of the year! And maybe next year you’ll want to jump into Yarmouth’s history and portray an old spirit, haunting this town. If not, come join the audience and witness these spectacular scenes!
