YHS’s Kindness Club launched their successful and beloved tradition of compliment week from May 8th to May 12th! There were 2,064 compliments total which definitely brightened the days of the students during a week full of AP testing and stress. The way compliments were collected is through a Google form that Mrs. Bongard forwarded to the students every day of that week. Then, responses were collected automatically into a spreadsheet where they were sorted and then sent out through the kindness club email address! Also during this week, stickers and t-shirts were being sold during lunch periods! The design was a very cool bee designed by Dorcas Bolese!
Also in kindness club news, because the current leaders, Sarah Dressel, Macy Gilroy, and Emma Butsch, are leaving, they needed rising juniors and seniors to take over the club. Luckily it’s going to be in good hands with Matt Dressel, Haley Doan, and Leah Muentener.
Even though the school year is ending, hopefully, we can all carry these positive attitudes into the summer! Join Kindness Club next year!
