The class of 2027 took Character Day in stride. Many people participated, although not nearly as many as on Clipper Superfan Day. We got last for most dressed. There were Dr. Suess characters, Minnie Mouses, characters from Up, sports players, and more. The star of the show was Elton John (also known as Coltrane Vitalius). With his sparkles and sunglasses that tied into our Miami theme, the freshmen ended up getting first place for best dressed! After this victory, we gathered to view the music videos. Ours was done by Kellan E, Evie L, Syrin H, Agnes B, and Natalie C. It was well-produced and funny, and the crowd went wild when it was finished. We ended up getting third for the music video! Later in the day, Finley and James H got us in third place for ping pong. In the library, Coltrane V, Elise G, Syrin H, and Julian L put their brains together and managed to pull off second place in trivia!! Wow! In the meantime, Abbey H, and Gracie O hung our mural up outside of Mr. Smith’s room. Thanks to Eli O for helping us reach the top without having to use rulers to hammer the thumbtacks. There was a lot of hard work done on the mural, by many talented people. It turned out to be vibrant, and beachy; tying Yarmouth, Maine into our Miami theme. It could not have been done without Charlie M and Japhy D. Later that night, the freshmen gathered to paint 47 boxes to use for our caf decoration! Today was a great day for the Freshmen!
