Today the halls were filled with sunhats and leather jackets, and by break, we decided to send Coltrane (a surfer) and Jack (a biker) up to the podium. Their outfits were clever and went well with the theme, but we ended up getting fourth for best dressed. Turning to face the screen, broadcasting from the weight room, we watched as Van P, and Mia T astonishingly put the freshman in second place for maximum chin-ups with a grand total of 28. The crowd was blown away. With a quick break to refuel on the delicious school ramen, the freshmen were ready for the busy afternoon ahead of us. People were getting hyped for a long night of caf decorating. Jillian Pires had baked cookies for the decorators and we knew they would make our hard work worth it. Our class council planned some awesome decorations and expertly organized the freshmen class. Our section of the cafeteria looks like the Barbie movie if the Barbie movie used a lot of cardboard and tape. The freshmen are very proud of our Miami paradise and are pumped to put it to work tomorrow. Woo Woo! The dance team knew they would be practicing their moves as they decorated because they were feeling a little unprepared for Friday. Many people were excited to cheer at the Unified basketball game, which was a blast! The Unified team beat the teachers with incredible shots made by team members such as Maya Advani and Henry Meehan. Overall the freshman had a pretty gnarly Thursday maaan and are ready for the Friday festivities!
