For the third day in a row, the seniors won most dressed showing our exemplary dedication to Spirit Week. We placed second in best dressed, sending up Iris Hubbard and her life jacket which nailed the outdoorsy side of summer. During break we got to see Liam Hannah’s wonderful mash-up piano solo which featured songs by artists from Billy Joel to Boston to Outkast. We ended up tying for first with the sophomores. After school, tons of students filled the bleachers in the gym to watch the seniors play the freshmen in dodgeball. Our team consisted of Julia Brown, Alec Gagnon, Julia Lawwill, Will Raymond, Drea Rideout, and Bobby Wolff. We did win, though it was up to the last second and came down to whichever team had the fewest players remaining as neither team was fully eliminated. In stark contrast to the roaring crowds of the gym, Ethan Hoffman and Oz Stewart were in the library playing chess. We did come in fourth for this event but there was a semi-short notice substitution so it’s understandable that we would have been a little bit frazzled. It’s definitely a loss we can come back from.
