Seniors Steal the Lead

The seniors ended yesterday with an overall score slightly behind the juniors but we really turned things around today. We started off strong by taking first place for both most dressed and best dressed (Caleb Ferrell and Myah Hassan)–an impressive feat. Then the wins kept coming when it was announced that we also took first for our music video which featured Malyk Cofer, Olivier Garcia, Henry Keepes, Anna Tati Pambou, and Sailor Perry dancing to “Sorry” by Justin Bieber. After school, the activities were trivia and pickleball. Our team of Maddie Fleming, Caroline Gerber, Chris Irankunda, and Chester Parish was able to clutch the first-place win for the second year in a row (albeit with a slightly different team last year). Pickleball was a new event this year since the sport has grown in popularity, especially in Yarmouth. It started off with the seniors against the freshmen, which the seniors won. Then the finale was between the seniors and juniors with the seniors ultimately coming second–not too bad. Let’s keep the energy going tomorrow with our theme of summer!
