Spirit week started off strong for the seniors. We placed first in most dressed and caricatures (Myah Hassan), second in best dressed (Zoe Sammon), third in Mario Kart (Stephen Abbott), and fourth in Simon Says (Chris Augur, Harper Featherstone, Zach Latanzi, Eva Neumann, Cam Pernal, and Zoe Sammon). It may seem discouraging to place third or fourth but since it’s so early in the week, there’s no reason to worry. Seniors have won Spirit Week more often than any other grade in its history so the odds are stacked in our favor. Overall, it was an electric showing from all our competitors. Mario Kart was particularly exciting thanks to the incredible audience participation from all grades, which I hope to see continue throughout the week. If you can make the time to cheer on your classmates as they fight for first place, it will definitely be worth your while.
