Freshman End Their First Spirit Week with Spirit

Today almost everyone was wearing pink! The class council also provided everyone with some pink flower leis. Our grade was feeling great about our pink Miami party caf decoration. Everyone came together the night before and worked really hard on it. It was an overall great bonding experience for the grade. We are so proud of it! On the same note, the dance team had been practicing the night before and were feeling proud of their work, and ready to show off their moves. In Shad Schumacher (one of the dancers)’s words, “We wanna win. We’re not going to. But we want to.” Everyone was waiting for the assembly, which we knew was going to be a blast. We were getting ready to cheer loud for everyone in pink!! The assembly ended up going very well for the freshman. We had a rocky start, getting fourth in the dance and mural. Later, though, we got first in the relay race, second in caf decorating, and second in talent. Everyone in the freshman class would agree that Spirit Week is worth the hype, even though we were last overall. Next year we are going to work even harder, and cheer even louder! Congratulations to the seniors for their victory!

Thanks to everyone in the freshman class council, senate members, and others who put so much time, heart, and hard work into pulling this off. We couldn’t have done it without you! Kudos to all those involved in the spectacular performances put on this week!
