Sophomores Close the Gap Between Juniors!

On Friday, all the sophomores were decked out in green! We even had a few dinosaurs walking the halls. We stepped up our game since Freshman year. The sophomore class council provided these amazing name tags from Jurassic Park. The class council also supplied many little dinosaurs and candy to fit the wonderful theme of Jurassic Park. Thursday night so many people came to help set up our Jurassic World in the cafeteria! People hanging green on the walls, tapping the lights green, and wrapping boxes in green were just the beginning! I believe I can say this on behalf of all sophomores, we were extremely proud of what our grade did this year and had an amazing time bonding and showing the school what the class of 2026 has to offer. I do have to admit the class of 2025 better watch out next year because next year our name is going on that cup! Everyone did such an amazing job, and truly put all their heart and determination into Spirit Week making it a blast. The sophomore dance and talent performance were both AMAZING!!! The assembly was so much fun and had an extreme amount of spirit. The sophomores started off getting 3rd in the dance, then crushed it in the engineering getting 1st place. Then we had a little bit of a rocky time getting 4th place in the relay race, tug of war, and cafe decorating. 1st in limbo, then 3rd in talent, supply drive, and penny wars leaving us with a total of 81 points leaving us only 3 points behind the juniors. Congratulations to the seniors for winning and becoming the first grade to have the class on the cup. Next year we are ready to have a friendly competition with the seniors, because next year will be our winning year.

Thanks to the sophomore class council, teachers, students, and staff for making this year's spirit week possible. It means a lot to participate and see all the wonderful spirit this school has.
